Los Perritos
I walk into my kitchen to see a familiar sight. There is a large picture window providing ample afternoon sunlight. The resultant radiant heat appears to create a perfect atmosphere for napping canines. Adding to this sonorous environment, a thickly padded bench is conveniently situated beneath the window. The dogs seem to gravitate towards this sleep inducing platform numerous times throughout the day. Even though they seem to be in a coma-like slumber, I know for a fact at the slightest disturbance, they can launch themselves of their makeshift bed at full speed. The common alignment of said dogs on the bench appears to be constantly changing with no set order. I find them in varied positions throughout the day. They can be curled up like a doughnut or sprawled out at full length. This calm serine setting invites one to pet them, or just join them for a nap.
